  • What is Forever a Bride (FaB)? Why "FaB"?"
    FaB is a personal events supplier curation, verification and consulting service and blog, aimed to help couples or celebrants get a good start in forming their dream team without worries. I came up with the name "Forever a Bride" simply because I insist and feel that I still am a bride, even after tying the knot. I was happy being a bride and enjoyed going through all that "stressful" planning, so I want to express and proclaim that feeling through my blog.   • What are the services that FaB offers?
    If you can't provide links to inspirations, feel free to upload photos here. FaB mainly offers personal and customized event suppliers curation, verification and other services like being your buddy when you run your shopping or ocular errands for the event, as well as budget allocation plan and assistance on DIY projects.   • Do I need FaB?
    If you already availed of a full coordination service by a professional events planner or a complete set (all-in) wedding package, then by all means, NO, you most definitely not need FaB. Make the most use of your coordinator as all of my services are supposed to be covered by your full coordination package. However, if you are having issues or doubts with your booked events planner (or other suppliers), you can request for me to research about them and verify their identity or performance. If you are on the look out for a credible full coordination events planner or an ideal all-in wedding package, you can start here as I can curate for you your ideal coordinators / packages. Once you've chosen your coordinator/package, you can then begin discussing your dreams and hire other suppliers with your selected coordinator as your curator. If you will be planning everything for your event and prefer to only have on-the-day coordination or partial coordination, or even no wedding coordinator at all, then FaB is perfect for you. We can curate and assemble your dream team, including the otd/partial coordinator if applicable. All thats left for you to do is discuss your visions with the respective suppliers, then turn-over everything to the coordinator before your event. Finally, if you're not tech savvy, don't have a lot of time for research, or you suck at it, but you insist on not availing a full coordination package from professional even planners, then you will really need FaB. :)
  • Why do I need FaB?
    Not having sufficient knowledge and skills to explore about the world wide web can be a dangerous venture especially to inexperienced researchers. You might be prone to: 1. Looking at websites aiming to phish or scam visitors 2. Be deceived by the wonderful website and photos of an unreliable or pretending supplier 3. Checking out fabricated "client" reviews 4. Wasting too much time and effort struggling to search 5. Deciding on more popular suppliers or those with high visibility mainly due to paid ads 6. Missing out on some other great deals or better performing suppliers not searched for 7. Failure in reading about other hidden fees and charges 8. Depending on 1 source & forgetting to crosscheck on other sites & sources FaB eliminates all these concerns above for you by simply providing you peace of mind with a fully customized supplier curation report to refer to. You will be ensured to get just the best and most reliable suppliers fit within your specifications. Being able to gather good suppliers from the start decreases chances of encountering problems and issues in communicating & transacting with them, making it easier and less stressful for you to execute your event plans.
  • How does FaB differ with other supplier directories, forums or groups?"
    If I can emphasize just one thing, it's the personal touch. Metaphorically, its like the feeling you get when you receive a hand-written letter compared to a type-written letter. Yes, there are a lot of websites that provide you with hudreds of resources, and even selects your dream teams with just a single click. You can go to forums and groups to ask for advice and suggestions. You can easily search for client reviews all over the net. However, these websites do not always provide accurate and authentic information. Client reviews might not be verified. Vendors that sponsored the site might appear more frequently than those that do not. We tend to go to more than 1 sources to check, right? Forums and groups are also a big help, but looking for the information you need might take time. Nobody might answer your question, or the answers. Or on the contrary, too many will answer your question, leaving you with loads of answers to check & verfiy once again. FaB aims to address those problems by being one of the most reliable & trustworthy resource for researching event suppliers. You no longer have to do triple checks, because I already did it for you. You will get your own unique, detailed curation based on your specification in a PDF formal report (like a mini-thesis if I may exaggerate). Other information will be provided as well, such as my personal opinions, advice and other suggestions to make your dream event even dreamier. For the same reason that consultants charge for their information, you will not expect the same focused effort & tailored results to be readily given to you from the free sites and forums.
  • How does FaB differ from an event planner/coordinator?
    In your eyes, FaB might just be another supplier, but the more appropriate way to describe me is to treat me as if I am a fellow client as well, just with added skills and experience. I do things in your shoes, as if I am the one getting married or having the debut. Event planners/coordinators on the other hand is an official category of event suppliers, providing you with an actual team to run your event on the day, and to help you plan ahead as well if you avail more than the OTD service. Another way to look at it is I am only offering (Before-The-Day Lite Version) BTD-L planning services. Lite version because once you selected suppliers from my curated lists, further coordination and transaction with them will be directly between you guys. I would be out of the picture. I personally think for hands-on folks, this is more efficient and safe as there will no longer be a middle man. You can directly convey and communicate your thoughts with them, and pay them directly as well. If you don't have the capacity to avail of full coordination service from professional coordinators but you needed help with planning your event, you can avail of my services and then hiring an OTD coordinator, which is overall much more cheaper. Viola! BTD-L + Your own coordination efforts once suppliers are shortlisted + OTD Coordinator = Full Coordination Planning, budgeted version. :) Therefore, FaB mainly focuses on the beginning stage of the planning. Such as if you are newly engaged, or just starting to plan for a debut or birthday party without anything set in stone yet. FaB will match you with your ideal supplier/s, and then once we already formed a formidable events team, you can take it from there. This can go two ways, depending with you. Either: 1. We start with hiring a full coordination package from a professional planner, and then you would continue discussing your plans and hiring other suppleirs with them, as the event planner will now be officially your curator and consultant. 2. Or the BTD-L+You+OTD formula. If you prefer to just have an OTD coordinator, or partial coordination, or even no coordinator at all, you can choose to curate just for specific suppliers you need help with, or the whole events team. After which you discuss your plans and visions with your suppliers. I also offer services beyond curation. Any requests for assistance with regards to planning your event can be considered if within my capabilities. Finally, you turn over everything to the OTD/partial coordinator (if you avail one).
  • Why does FaB not go straight into starting an event coordination service?
    As I've said in the About Me section, I might have the qualities, work attitude and personality to be one, but I still lack the neccesary skill set to be a full-fledged event coordinator. I only have limited experience in actually planning an event such as my employer's parties and my wedding. These are not enough to qualify and sell myself as a reliable coordinator. I need to undergo actual training and be deployed to a number of events to acquire the proper exposure. For coordinators, I strongly believe experience is the best teacher and the best asset to promoting oneself as trustworthy & professional. Also, I'm not quite ready to give up my travel goals, as well as my sleep, rest days and holidays in hosting events, expecially during peak seasons. However, I'm not closing any doors. :) If the opportunity comes and the demand from clients keep increasing, you might be able to see Forever a Bride Events (FaB Events) soon!
  • How would I know if the information given to me by FaB is accurate / verified / reliable / the best available?
    All I have to offer is my relentless and persistence, my perfectionist, OC and detail-oriented personality, as well as efficient work attitude coupled with my IT knowledge and explicable research skills & experiences to gather the information needed to come up with the best possible result for you. Sounds like an advertisement or an answer to a job interview, right? Especially to those who do not know me personally. It's totally understandable if some of you do not completely trust me yet, especially that I only recently launched this service, and that a lot of you might have your own standards of good research capabilities as well. If you must, you can conduct your own checking and review of the information and reports I provide to verify. I can't give you an exact concrete answer for this question, as anything might be just another data or information to you. After all, isn't all the information we see, look, read, watch all over the internet also provided by fellow people like us? I want my output and performance to speak and prove for themselves. You be the judge!
  • So how does FaB work? How can I avail of a service?

  • What is the "Step 3: Screen" of the 5 steps to avail FaB service for? Why?"
    Of course, the result of my curation and report highly depend on two factors: 1. the specifications you specified in step 2 2. and the resources and information available & accessible in the internet It is highly possible that we cannot find an at least decent match with your requirements against the available good vendors. You might have indicated an unrealistically low budget allocation for a supplier, there might be no information to the location where you want the supplier to be locally based from, no information to support their reputation, they have no online visibility, or even mistakes with the specifications you provided. These are just some of the many factors. I have to do quick initial searches so I can be sure I can supply you with the level of service that I am proud of. This is done before the payment so result can be guaranteed. You will know from step 4 if we can proceed with my service and payment.
  • For supplier curation, does FaB also handle the communication & booking between my selected suppliers?"
    No, supplier curation ends once I have successfully sent my personal shortlisted suppliers to you. It is assumed that after you chose your favorite supplier from the list, the following actions such as getting in touch with them, collaborating with them your requirements, settling the payment with them will be a breeze, especially if you are cooperative and efficient yourself as well. It's simply because the list I curated for you should only contain verified excellent suppliers. You should not be encountering a lot of issues with coordinating with them. However, if you are too busy, based abroad with a different timezone, or it's inconvenient for you to talk to a lot of people, whatever the reason, if you feel you will still be stressed and challenged with doing the next steps, you can request for this service under "Other Services". We'll talk and see if I can handle it for you. I wouldn't want to let you down. However, as it will definitely take a lot of effort and time like a full-fledged coordinator woould do, it would cost an amount, depending on our discussion. Finally, remember that similar to full coordination services, if we happen to proceed with this service, you will still be contacted, bothered, asked questions and such, but by just one person, which will be me.
  • What are FaB's available payment channels?
    Currently, only manual payment is supported. Online bank transfers are highly encouraged. Bank details will be sent together with the confirmation email. Paypal or credit card payment facilities will be available soon.
  • Does FaB provide free consultation?
    Definitely! As long as your questions or concerns do not involve any researching, and you are happy with my stock knowledge and experiences as an answer. Nothing like having a regular chat session with a friend!
